Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about San Tan Valley tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in San Tan Valley.
“I have been to this shop multiple times and I've never been disappointed. I saw Andy for a memorial tattoo of my yellow Lab Jakes paw print and absolutely love it. Then had Andy do another tattoo for the birth of my first grandbaby. I've brought all three of my children (two of them now adults) in for various piercings with Kristi and she is amazing at what she does. And I've had my most recent memorial tattoo for my mother when she passed away done by Thor and I absolutely love it. Barbara Jean has always been super pleasant both inside and outside of the shop. Unless I move out of Arizona these guys are always going to be my go to place for my art.”
“I cannot recommend Sara enough! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the sweetest and most caring artists I’ve ever met. You can tell she truly loves what she does. She puts so much heart and attention into her work. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Her passion shows in every detail of her art. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers amazing results, Sara is the one to go to!”
