Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Cookeville tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Cookeville.
“A coworker and I got ear piercings with Seven and not only received great piercings, but were entertained as well! I got a third earlobe piercing, and a cartilage piercing. Seven explained what he was doing each step of the way, and the piercing itself was swift, smooth, and virtually painless. Later that evening, and even now the next day, I forget they are there! No aching whatsoever. Seven thoroughly prepped his area while we were in the waiting room… Clearly, a clean and sanitized area is very important at Roustabout. He joked and made us feel comfortable, but still was professional. Would highly recommend!!”
“I couldn’t have been happier! Chriz did an incredible job. Extremely professional. This was my first tattoo. He made me feel at ease, confident in the design, in the process, and the execution. Highly recommend this place. If you’re doing something so permanent you should do your research and choose legitimate professionals and Studio 819 is a wise choice. Also, as someone who loves guns, the fact that they too love them, is a good bonus!”
