Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about South Plainfield tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in South Plainfield.
“I got my nose pierced here a few years ago and had an amazing experience the healing process was smooth and problem free! Recently, I had a bad experience at another shop where they told me I couldn't get my belly button pierced unless I used a specific kind of ring due to my anatomy. Thankfully, I came back here for a second opinion, and they reassured me that my anatomy was perfect for the piercing and I didn’t need any special jewelry. The piercer was super quick and professional, it didn’t even hurt and I didn’t even realize he was done, that’s how fast and smooth it was! I’m beyond happy with the service. This is officially my go-to spot for piercings from now on!”
