Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Florence tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Florence.
“Jamey did 3 tattoos for me and I love all 3. I had an amazing experience. He assisted in my design and helped me narrow it down to what would look best. He wanted to ensure I was happy with placement and design. He genuinely cared about how it would look for a forever tattoo. I do recommend the numbing cream. He used on my last tattoo and I didn’t feel a thing. Everyone that works there is friendly and excited to see the creativity of their co-workers. Thank you so much Jamey! Good luck on your 8 hour tattoo!!! Don’t forget to use the numbing cream.”
“They are amazing!! They helped us right as they got there our tattoo artist was JEFF an I recommend him 100%. We had went to 2 or 3 places a they turned us away. I have to say they work with with what you want an give them your price range an will hook you up..Jeff is one of the most amazing artist. He is really clean and he makes sure you leave happy with the work and tells you how to do the after care. He even gives you after care cream when you go to leave. So if you’re ever in Florence Al, look these folks up there worth it…”
“I have nothing bad to say about anyone at this shop! Rusty does amazing tattoos. He always goes above and beyond what we ask for. The piercer Charlie is the best there is. He has pierced my nipples, nose, lip, tongue and dermal and they have all been perfect. He is always so professional and explains the process in detail and always makes sure you are comfortable. He goes to great lengths to avoid inflicting anymore pain than necessary. We will never get tattoos or piercings anywhere but West Coast.”
