Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Fultondale.
“Gia is such a vibe! She’s the coolest person I have ever met in the tattoo industry! She gave me my first big piece. She made me feel comfortable, helped educate me on new tattoo care products and made 6 hours go by like it was nothing! I love her and her work! I can’t wait to keep adding things to my tattoo with her! Thank you Gia 💕”
