“I had an interesting experience with this shop. It started bad and ended well. The owners Chris and Patsy are amazing people. Chris made the mistake of hiring Telan Hawk (owner of Nostalgia ink) and he did my tattoo on a Sunday night on a whim. Telan appeared to do a good job, but time would show he did terrible job on my tattoo and it even got infected and scarred. I am a 100% disabled Marine Veteran, so I am not new to the tattoo world. This was an important Nordic piece that both incorporated my wife's Nordic roots and my devotion to the Marine Corps. I went back roughly a year later after leaving a review (not bad nor good) and talked to Patsy. She had Chris contact me. He not only righted the wrong, he made a beautiful piece and is now the artist for me and my wife. We express ourselves in this art form and it is nice to have a couple devoted to their work and business. I HIGHLY Recommend thier shop. I have an appointment next week to do a pin up calf piece of my wife and I am both happy and comfortable knowing that Chris will be performing this work. What makes me sick is that I walked into Nostalgia Ink to show him what the tattoo was supposed look like and the shop was full. Chris and Patsy's shop has suffered at the hands of Telan and his employees. I implore you to try them out. Wonderful people! I will update the tattoo photos as soon as it fully heals. “Every artist at empire is great. I chose to work with Diego and Jedi because their art fit what I have been looking for over three decades. I got a tattoo when I was in the Army at nineteen and immediately regretted it. That experience left me gun shy about getting more tattoos. I had a vision of what I wanted and when I saw Diego’s work, I immediately knew he was the artist I wanted to work with. Diego was able to cover the area where I had my old tattoo removed with an amazingly detailed octopus. He also took my inspirations and designed custom half sleeves. Jedi is Diego’s wife, translator, and artistic sounding board. Together, they make an amazing team. Nevertheless, any artist at The Empire knows their stuff! I highly recommend them.”
