“A True Artist — Trust Ego, He Knows What He’s Doing! As someone totally new to the world of tattoos, I walked into Ego’s studio with a simple line design in mind. Ego, ever the professional and true artist, gently advised against it. He told me portraits were his specialty — his passion — but still, he respectfully offered to do the piece if that’s what I really wanted. I appreciated his honesty and openness, and even though he cautioned me, I went ahead with my original idea. I liked the tattoo… but I didn’t love it. Fast forward to the healing process, I found myself thinking, “Why didn’t I just let him do what he’s clearly born to do?” So I booked another appointment. This time, I gave Ego full creative freedom — and wow. The result was beyond anything I could’ve dreamed. Detailed, powerful, and personal in a way I never expected. I truly love my tattoo now and will forever be grateful that Ego didn’t turn me away when I came in pleading for a simple line piece.
