After only a 30 minute wait, Tom called to let us know they were ready for us. BEAUTIFUL tattoos and recommendations from Tom to help commemorate our trip and celebrate our grandma. “I recently decided to have my first tattoo. At 59 years old lol I wanted a sentimental tattoo with my grandchildren as the feature I contact the owner of Maine Ink several times on messenger I actually was probably a pain in his butt I asked a thousand questions and he was more than patient with me He recommended Carlos as the artist to do my work Carlos was amazing! I like a person that interacts with me, especially if they're going to do something to my body I asked a lot of questions during the process. Carlos was very patient, friendly and kind along with being a consummate professional. What I gave Carlos was quite simple for what he normally does for work. But he didn't treat my work any different than what he would have done for someone else. I've seen a lot of his work and He is amazingly talented. I met a few of the other artists while I was there waiting and everybody was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and everybody was attentive I'm very pleased with my experience and I'm looking forward to my next tattoo!”

“Edit: I went back a few days later and the piercer was super apologetic and was able to switch the jewelry. Now the piercing is healing wonderfully and I’m super happy with it. The people are really nice and the shop is clean, I would definitely go back for a tattoo. I went for a Medusa piercing (upper middle lip) and I love it, the placement is perfect, the piercing experience was great and the price is reasonable. I’d go back again but I’m very frustrated that the piercer ignored me when I told him that my lip would swell more than usual. I’ve had my lips pierced (snake bites) before and they swelled up to 3 times their normal size, so I had an idea of what to expect with this one. He put in a bar that is slightly larger than a standard bellybutton ring and my lip is currently so swollen that the ball is being “consumed” by the inside of my lip. I got it done Monday and Thursday morning I had to push the inner ball through the grown over skin. I’m hoping that I can get the jewelry replaced with a larger one because I love the piercing so much and I’d be super sad if I have to heal it to get it done again.”
