Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Fresno tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Fresno.
“I got tatted by Taz and honestly, he’s one of the best artists I’ve ever met. From the moment I walked into the shop, he made me feel welcome and comfortable. Super chill vibe, hella cool personality, and you can tell he really cares about his craft. His attention to detail and steady hand had me blown away especially because this was a cover up of a ex I wanted to not ever see that name again lol, he made it happen , the line work and shading came out perfect. On top of that, he made the whole session easy and fun, like you’re just hanging out with a friend who happens to be insanely talented. If you’re looking for a tattoo artist who’s not only skilled but also genuine and down-to-earth, Taz is definitely the one to go to. Highly recommend”
“We came in as a group of four after a trip to Yosemite, and the shop welcomed us as walk-ins without hesitation. One of us was getting their very first tattoo, but the artists made the experience comfortable. Dustin made the whole experience fun, easy, and comfortable. He’s an incredible artist—brought our ideas to life with so much detail and creativity. The tattoos turned out even better than we imagined and became such a special part of our trip. Highly recommend Dustin and this shop if you’re in Fresno!”
