Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Santa Fe tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Santa Fe.
“Shrine is great. Highly recommend John Sultana. His artistry is great, and he takes time to ensure you are pleased with the design. And he is incredibly efficient! Highly recommend.”
“Very professional and very clean! Natrual light makes it very light in all aspects visually and energeticly making this place the vibe!! Not your typical shop which i love because I do believe a place has energy and any body modification is an energy transfer. Staff is all friendly and fun!! Sitting still was only hard because we were laughing during my piercing. Looking foward to my tattoo this summer❣️”
“This shop has always been amazing. My artist, Scott Buffington, has beautifully done all eight of my most recent pieces. I’ve been going there since 2011, and the artists are straightforward and deliver phenomenal work. They don’t rely on unnecessary gimmicks, which I really appreciate. The artists are seasoned professionals who take great pride in their craft. Communication is excellent; they are easy to work with and always willing to accommodate your needs. They are fantastic individuals, and I would recommend this shop over any other without hesitation. #teamfourstar”
