I’ve gotten my last 4 tattoos here, and I honestly can’t recommend this shop enough. The staff is some of the coolest, most laid-back, and friendliest people you’ll ever meet. From the moment you walk in, they treat you like a person, not just another customer. Nobody has an ego, nobody acts like they’re above you, and everyone is willing to answer any questions you have. They’re always upfront and straightforward about everything. Whether it’s the design, sizing, placement, pricing, how long it’ll take, or how to properly take care of your tattoo afterward, they make sure you understand the entire process before anything starts. You never feel rushed or pressured. One thing I really appreciate is how accommodating they are. Walk-ins are usually welcome, and they do a great job getting to people in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere is always relaxed, comfortable, and welcoming. They also have the friendliest dog hanging around the shop, which somehow makes the experience even better. Most importantly, every tattoo I’ve gotten from them has turned out amazing. The quality of the work is outstanding, the prices have always been fair, and I’ve left happy every single time. This is the only shop I recommend to friends and family, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for future tattoos.

Butcher is the GOAT. Unbelievable staff, great vibes all around, and a badass location. Can’t say enough about the professionalism and creativity at work in this TANK of a shop. All the artists there are super easy to work with and are great people. Love to see super badass people running such a staple nowadays. Love you kind 💕💕

Best tattoo shop in Nashville. Great artists(I’ve been tattooed by a majority of them now) quality work and they’re the quintessential “street shop” where you don’t feel like you’re walking into some pompous art gallery and paying $300/hr for work. Butch is my guy though, gonna be finishing up my leg sleeves here soon. Definitely check them out for all your needs, large or small they got you. Also great industry days for all of the hospitality workers and artists in the community . 10/10

My friends and I (group of four) were able to walk-in and get tattooed rather quickly and every single person in the shop are incredibly ~kind~ and were very accommodating when I felt lightheaded. If you call ahead they are also efficient with the designs.
