“What a great experience ! Booking was easy, the staff were super friendly and accommodating/welcoming, the space is both cool and super chill in terms of vibe. My artist Maddie, blew my mind with her design - based on a verbal conversation and one piece of reference material she surpassed every expectation with her design, and the execution is amazing. The other artists were warm, friendly, and engaging - wicked cool environment all around, and i am so stoked with the piece I got, i keep looking at it and love it ! I will definitely be coming back for more work. Kudos to the entire establishment, you all run a fantastic business. Updated 9-7-2025: True to word, I have returned to 1001 Troubles for an additional medium sized piece, and a Large piece. I also have several more pieces planned. The environment is really warm and welcoming : the owners happened to be in the shop when i was getting yesterday's work done, and both took the time to compliment the piece I was getting. Front desk staff were friendly and awesome! My artist, Maddie, is incredible and took some high level concepts for a very important piece and made something that captured exactly the essence of what i had in mind. Not only is the design amazing, but she took a ton of care to make it symmetrical with its sister piece, and aligned, which meant a lot to me that it was important to get it perfect. If you're reading this, you should book with her!! This is a great place to get a tattoo, with a cohort of artists that are incredibly talented, but its also a space where i genuinely just look forward to hang out in and be surrounded with creative, fun, warm people while getting work done - and i'll be getting a lot more done!”
