I loved working with Sean Ma (IG: @knivescorp) at this location. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. The studio was clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. They even gave my friend and I the Wi-Fi password so we could get some work done while waiting for our appointment time. Everything with Sean went incredibly smoothly. She was easy to talk to and happy to make multiple rounds of adjustments to the design. She was willing to take the extra time to make sure we knew our options and felt entirely comfortable. I got a 3in fine-line tattoo with a couple of intricate details for $200, which felt like a great value for the quality of the linework. She provided clear aftercare instructions and used SecondSkin. Also! She provides free touch-ups for her own work, which honestly was a huge plus. While it wasn’t my first time getting a tattoo, I would highly recommend her for any first-timers looking for a gentle, comfortable experience. Booking an appointment online was straightforward, but just make sure to double-check that your artist is receiving your messages (mine took a while to get through)

I got toothgems done by Elizabeth and they’re so cute! She was very thorough with the placement and made sure I approved before she cured them. The process was quick and painless. The gems are so fun for summer! Would highly recommend getting yours done with Elizabeth!

Got my very first tattoo here about a week ago, it was such a lovely experience and staff was very professional and polite. I was shocked that I hardly felt anything as I did get it close to my sternum 😳. I believe my artist was Annie collin, she was lovely to work with and made the experience a lot more comfortable and private. If you’re in town and looking for a tattoo definitely check out live by the sword, I know I for sure will be coming back for more tattoos and piercings 🧚🏾‍♀️

I worked with Fifth here at Live By The Sword Williamsburg for my tattoo - AMAZING artist - his work is STUNNING! My “souvenir” NYC tattoo was even cooler than I had anticipated. Not to mention service here is great, everyone is super friendly. And I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep in the comfy chair while he was doing my tattoo. Whether you’re a local or just visiting NYC, definitely a great spot to get some nice ink.

She helped me perfect my design so it would look good thought my life. The shop itself was a great space and I had a great time with Cinthia. I highly recommend! Their rewards program is also incredible!
