Temaki Tattoo

Recently, I had the opportunity to be in communication with Sam. I have family coming into town, and three of us were trying to get a tattoo, each with a different style. Oh, and there was only one day we could do it (Easter). Needless to say, it was a tall order. After sending in the request, Sam got back to me that same day. She was open, collaborative, and enthusiastic about working with us. Her communication is top tier, and is frankly GOLD when working with an artist. She was accommodating to us, and willing to go out of her way to get our needs met. While we had a logistical thing on my end come up and aren't able to work with Sam, I cannot wait to get to get tattooed with her in the future. Thank you Sam!

Had a great experience with Temaki Tattoo! Sam made me feel comfortable and did a great job designing my tattoo from the photo I provided. Also, Sam gave lots of good advice on aftercare and it healed up quicker than others I've had. I'd definitely recommend this shop and it'll be the first place I look for my next tattoo.

I love Sam and will only go to her for my tattoos. I have 4 and they are all from her. She is timely, professional, clean studio and just knows what she is doing. I can’t wait to get my bird finished this weekend.

Temaki Tattoo was an amazing experience for a first-timer! My partner and I recently moved to Minneapolis (she has a few tattoos, I have none) and I’ve been talking about getting my first tattoo but wasn’t sure where to start. When we heard that Temaki Tattoo was partnering with a local animal rescue to give people same day flash tattoos I knew I had my place! The artists generously donated their time and ink to an amazing cause where all of the proceeds went to the shelter to help save cat and dogs lives. I was a little nervous at first but my artist, Rachel (whose main shop is Tiger Rose Tattoo), was so helpful walking me through the process. I wouldn’t consider myself a very creative person so it was really nice the way she brainstormed the best place for the flash piece keeping in mind I wanted more tattoos in the future. The shop has a great vibe about it and the artists were happy to talk to me throughout the process which just made the experience all the better! All in all, this was an amazing experience. The shop owner, Sam, put on an amazing event and volunteered not just her space for the event but also her time and resources. It’s so important to me to know that my money is going to a good cause and to businesses that align with my moral beliefs and with Temaki Tattoo, both of those are true! My partner and I will definitely be returning here as their wait times are not bad at all. I couldn’t have asked for more for my first tattoo and can’t wait to come back!

Temaki Tattoo and everyone involved is WONDERFUL. We moved from the East Coast and were hesitant about finding a new shop out here. You will not be disappointed! We attended a flash event fundraiser that they so generously donated their time, money, supplies, and talent to raise money for Pet Haven. Sam is extremely talented, kind, and personable. We were the last clients of the night and she still treated me like I was the first client of the day. I got two flash pieces and I’m so happy with them! We already were talking about my next tattoo from her. We will definitely be back! [Negative reviews about the event are from someone who has never even visited the shop, which is not fair to the artist or the business at all]
