Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Honolulu tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Honolulu.
“So easy to work with my artist & so personable and kind while he worked. Took my tattoo idea and made it his own piece of art. Couldn’t recommend more.”
“If you can, book with Mika!!!! Her work is astounding and the design given came out better than I ever could have imagined. Line work impeccable and shading so soft I was so happy and impressed. Incredibly kind and professional. The shop itself was also super clean and alot easier to find that I initially thought. The other artists there were also super sweet and fun to talk to. It was worth driving from Wahiawa to Waikiki just to get it done! Will be coming back as soon as this heals a bit!”
“Sacred Art Tattoo was very professional! I’m from out of state. I came to Waikiki to celebrate my birthday. While here I decided to get two small tattoos . Sergio did an amazing job on my tattoos! He made me feel very comfortable, the process was painless and quick! If you’re in Waikiki go check out my guy!”
