Order is by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: each shop's Google rating is pulled toward the directory average in proportion to how few reviews back it, so a 5.0 from six reviews does not outrank a 4.9 from eight hundred. The stars shown are the raw Google rating and review count.

What locals say about Macon tattoo shops
Pulled from Google reviews of the top-rated shops in Macon.
“The owners made me feel at ease and are extremely knowledgeable and funny. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The artist was quick, detailed, skill level off the charts and the process was virtually painless. I’ll be back for more custom pieces.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Redemption Tattoo Parlor. Cody is an incredible artist who truly brings tattoo ideas to life. He puts his whole heart into his work, and it shows every time. I’ve been getting tattooed by him for years and honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Not only is he insanely talented, but he’s also just good people — the kind of artist you want to keep going back to. The shop itself is always clean, professional, and cool as hell. If you’re looking for a place to get meaningful, quality work done, this is it.”
