Resurrection Tattoo

Michelle did an amazing job on my celebratory Knicks tattoo. So intelligent and professional and followed up on my appointment with lightning speed. The shop is amazing, everything is so clean and organized and everyone is so friendly. Plus there’s a lot of really cool flash on the wall. I am coming back to give this place one star after the extremely unprofessional ways of one of their tattoo artists, Michelle. I went up there to talk to her about getting another piece done by her, but she wasn’t there and the other guy that works up there had to write her number down for me because she didn’t even have a business card. I wasn’t on social media at the time, so I texted and called her. She replied to my messages about the piece I wanted and we talked back and forth, I sent her pictures and told her the size I wanted and then she just ghosted me. She didn’t let me know she wouldn’t be able to do the piece, she didn’t follow up at all. I find this behavior to be extremely immature and rude, and honestly a little unintelligent because I was trying to support her and her art and she just ignored me. So lame. Will be doing what I can to encourage people to go elsewhere to get tattoos, great job y’all. Take care! ✌️

I’d been wanting a new tattoo for a while and happened to drive by this shop and noticed they accepted walk-ins. I came in with an idea of what I wanted, and Justin absolutely nailed it. Not only did he bring my vision to life, but he did it at a great price too. He’s a genuinely great guy with a ton of experience, and it shows in his work. Was in town from Atlanta for a long weekend and sitting over at Cosmic for coffee I decided I was in the mood for a new tattoo, so with a bit of Googling I decided to check out Resurrection. I popped in a bit after opening on a Thursday and Wheatley was happy to work with me on picking out some flash from her book. I wanted something Texas-y (native Houstonian) and landed on a cowboy hat with a cactus & some color added as well. Wheatley was easy to chat with about what I was wanting and her work was very efficient & super top quality. I love how it turned out and pricing was fair as well. The shop was clean and the rest of the staff seemed cool, so I’d happily come back here again. Thanks again, Wheatley! 🤠
