Sunrise Tattoo

Mixed experience. Sean made mistakes on my tattoo, but he took responsibility. Zane the shop owner gave me a touch-up. I appreciate that they made it right, but I'd still recommend being careful about who you book with.

He worked on a stunning wind and water Japanese inspired half-sleeve cover-up for me over several sessions, and the results are absolutely beautiful. His attention to detail, artistic vision, and skill made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The shop itself is spotless, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. All of the artists are friendly, professional, and easygoing, which makes every visit a pleasure. You can tell they have a great team dynamic that creates a positive environment for both artists and clients. Sunrise Tattoo is the shop you have in your mind when you want the perfect tattooing experience. The shop itself is located in an arts collective; the studio is bright, open, airy, and clean. The artists are friendly, welcoming, and excel at their individual styles. Would absolutely recommend Sunrise to anyone interested in collaborating on a piece to add to their tattoo collection.

Sunrise Tattoo and its artists offer a calm, bright and all around good vibes atmosphere! Zane has created five beautiful tattoos for me and he’s as kind a human as he is a talented artist! Ryan has also created an incredible piece for me and while their styles are different, they do them extremely well! 12/10 always recommend!

I’ve been getting tattooed by Zane since 2020. He has created such an awesome, welcoming place with Sunrise Tattoo in Nashville. The shop is always clean and has an artsy but cozy atmosphere. All of the artists are friendly, and the genuine camaraderie in the shop makes it an even nicer place to spend a few hours. I’ve had 8 pieces done by Zane. He is always psyched about my ideas, and I am always excited to see what he puts together on appointment day. His kind attitude, attentiveness, and approachability makes him a dream tattoo artist. I always feel comfortable asking questions or requesting changes. I know I’m in good hands from the time we book the appointment until I walk out with that fresh piece! I moved away from Nashville a few years ago, and I still make the two hour trip whenever I want to get work done because Zane is that good. Looking forward to seeing the expanded Sunrise soon!
