Hidden Door Tattoo

Had a great experience at the shop! Derrick did tattoos for both my husband and I and we were so happy with the results. The shop is very cute as well and has super cozy vibes. Can't wait to heal up so I can plan out my next one!

I kicked off the work on my pet memorial sleeve with Sophie a couple of weeks ago, and I had an absolutely amazing experience. Sophie was great. She listened to my wants, provided feedback with her expertise, and we were able to come up with something absolutely perfect. Thank you, Sophie! I love my tattoo and will definitely be back!

I have a few tattoos from Sophie, but yesterday was my first time getting work from her at Hidden Door. It was a great experience! The space is clean, accessible and really really cute, from the front door to the bathroom. There were two other artists working on clients while I was there, and everyone was super friendly. The space feels social, but also spread out enough to kind of zone out and do your own thing while you're getting tattooed if you're not feeling too chatty (I read a book comfortably). And, of course, Sophie's work is *excellent* and she is the absolute master of color gradients! Broccoli is fresh (not yet healed!) from yesterday at HDT. Mimikyu + chef ghost are also from Sophie, but at different shops ~2 and ~5 years ago, respectively.

Sophie was amazing start to finish! The booking process and communication was clear and I loved the option on the form asking if I wanted to chat during my tattoo or just be quiet. We took breaks as needed and she continuously asked what I needed to be comfortable. I felt cared for the whole time! Not to mention the tattoo is *perfect*! Even better than I envisioned. The color is 💯 and I get compliments on this tattoo more than any others I have! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Derrick was an absolute joy to work with! Very kind & very fast. I also always get tattoos from different artist & don’t ever go to the same artist twice but I will definitely be going back to get more tattoos from Derrick at Hidden door!
