Guillermo was AMAZING! Hands down the BEST place to go to get a tattoo in Nashville. Don't even bother any of the other places or the over rated Jellyroll on the strip, Hart and Huntington is where you want to go! From the moment you get into the shop the professionalism blows you away. They take the time to hear what you are looking for and how you want it to come out. They go over everything including the extensive waiver and answer all questions you have. Let's not forget how CLEAN AND SPOTLESS the shop is, you could eat off the floor(and that say it all for any place you go to get a tattoo) Besides flying down from New York for the Darius Rucker and Friends St Jude benfit concert on Monday June 1st, getting my 2 tattoos done by Guillermo was the 2nd best part of my 1st trip to Nashville. I only wish I lived closer to make Guillermo my forever tattoo artist! I would (and hopefully will) get another tattoo by him if I ever get a chance to go back! I hands down 100% recommend getting a tattoo at this shop and by any of the artist that they have working for them!

Okay I need you to hear me out. I went in a little nervous with the reviews talking about them being scammy. At literally no point did they try to scam. I went in with my husband having no clue what we were going to get. We told them our budget and then were told to look around a bit to find out what tattoo we wanted. Bella, the super sweet front desk girl, explained everything. If you take the time to listen to her she provides every detail. We did have to pay a 150$ deposit, but that goes towards the cost of your tattoo. We were told our tattoo range would be between 180-250$ depending on the size we picked. Literally only ended up being 200$ each for exactly what we wanted, a 2x2 memory of our trip. So since we paid the deposit, we only paid an additional 50$ for our tats. They kept UNDER our budget. As long as you pay attention they will 100% keep within the range they set for you at the beginning. The only thing I will warn about is that they DO NOT tell you they charge for the tattoo aftercare. However, I simply asked “do you charge for that” they said yes and I said no thank you. Moved on. They do not scam if you pay attention. Don’t be worried about those other reviews unless you’re a little dumb. Set a price range upfront, don’t get the tattoo aftercare, talk to Bella, and maybe go to Collin or Austin for if you want sick line work. Thanks y’all. 🫶🏽❤️ PS. They have the CUTEST merch holy crap. It’s a little pricey, but you get money off your merch purchase after you get your tattoo. Made my 65$ hoodie, 45$. Was fairly reasonable with the discount.

Mel Lockett is incredible to work with. Not only is she a talented and skilled artist, she’s also so kind, intelligent, and fun to work with. This is the 2nd tattoo I’ve had done by Mel, and both times I drove all the way from Michigan specifically for her! Honestly, I’ll probably make the trip again if/when I get another. I can’t imagine working with someone else. She was able to take the idea in my head and create something better than I could have ever imagined. She takes her time with design and it pays off. Her work space is clean and welcoming and she’s just great to talk with. My tattoo healed beautifully and I would definitely recommend her!

I had such an amazing experience from start to finish. This was deeply personal, and my artist handled it with so much care, patience, and intention. They took the time to really listen and created a design that worked with my scar. The placement, the detail, the softness of the work… everything came out even better than I imagined. You can tell when someone truly cares about their craft and their clients, and that’s exactly what I experienced here. I walked in a little nervous (first tattoo 😊) and walked out feeling empowered. If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented but also thoughtful and professional, I highly recommend them.
