Electric Anvil Tattoo & Piercing

I went here to get an ear piercing oct 19 2025. I paid 139.36 for one cartilage piercing. I opted for the custom jewelry which is what brought my total up to the price. Recently I changed my jewelry because my ear was irritated and see that the jewelry is changing color. The piercer was super dope and knowledgeable which i throughly enjoyed but definitely wouldn’t come back considering the jewelry was faulty

Jake was great ! Made me feel very comfortable and talked me through my piercing the whole time. Provided great after care information and info for Jewelry size selection after the piercing heals. Good personality and good hospitality. Would recommend! We came in about an hour before closing and he still assisted us.

I had a really annoying experience getting my ears pierced here and wouldn't go back. TLDR; if you want to spend less than $300 to get two basic lobe piercings, go somewhere else. Management was extremely rude when I raised concerns. Based on other reviews, seems like management has a problem with responding to issues in general. Jake did a fine job piercing my earlobes. The most basic piercing for both ears with the cheapest jewelry cost me $182.80. Felt pricey to me (I'd priced it out other places and most were $60-70/ear) but whatever. They told me I'd need to come back for downsizing. The aftercare paper they gave me said it would be $15 per ear to change the jewelry and $18 per ear for the shorter earring back. Ok. $33/ear. $66 on top of the $180 I already paid felt kind of insane, but if that was what needed to be done, fine. When I came back for the downsizing it actually wound up costing $106. Apparently there was also a $20 charge per ear to remove the old earring, on top of $15 to put in the new one and $18 for the new back. They didn't even tell me the cost before changing my earrings out. This all just seems insane to me. It took the guy 2 minutes to change the earring. I could have taken the earring out myself before he changed it and saved $40. Not to mention that if this is a required part of the piercing process, why wasn't it included in the pricing for the piercing in the first place? I wound up paying almost $300 for two basic lobe piercings with the cheapest possible titanium studs. It's insanely overpriced. The owner was also rude and dismissive when I tried to ask her about this. Don't waste your money here. Edit: Interesting that once I wrote a public review they were all ready to be helpful. This was not the case over the phone.

Jake was great! Helped me re-open some closed holes in my ears and get new jewelery in. Was super knowledgeable and took extra care to sterilize everything. This is a reputable shop and I come here for all mu piercing needs!

I had a great experience getting 2nd lob piercings from Jake at Electric Anvil. I called ahead and asked if I could drop in without an appointment and they said yes. The whole experience was very smooth. Jake was super relaxed and patient. He assured me at each step that I could take my time to think about what I wanted. He pulled out a bunch of jewelry for me to look at. He measured my ear lot, marked out the placing, and made an adjustment that I asked for before piercing. He also led me through deep breathing during the piercing. I’ve wanted to get my 2nd lobs pierced for a while and it turned out even better than I expected. Very pleased with the whole experience.
