The Ink Lab

David Dettloff of The Ink Lab is such an amazing tattoo artist!  I chose him for his unique style and beautiful, photorealistic color tattoos, as well as his ability to do cover-ups. From the beginning, David has been friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. During our consultation, he explained why my original idea didn't work well and instead designed a beautiful, custom tattoo that covered up my old ink. I am so happy with the results! The Ink Lab is a great shop. It’s very clean and comfortable with lots of plants, private booth areas, and friendly staff. It's in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops nearby if you want to make a full day of it. There's always free parking nearby, too.

Came in on may 23rd! Had such a great experience here! He made my tongue piercing super quick and easy, explained everything clearly, and made me feel really comfortable the whole time. He was genuinely such a kind person and had such a calming vibe. You can tell he really cares about his clients and what he does. I absolutely loved my experience and would 100% recommend him to anyone thinking about getting pierced!

The Ink Lab was a perfect place to go for my first piercings. I was nervous asking very basic questions, but Terren was warm and professional and made me feel at home. I know I'll be coming back for future piercings.

Went to David for a memorial portrait tattoo and Erica for a name tattoo. Super pleased with all tattoos and now going back for work on my other arm! The place is very professional, clean, private, cozy, comfortable, easy to find, and has convenient free street parking. They made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Very great experience! I would highly recommend. I asked for a specific design (a Squid across my arm) and they more then provided! Not only did they get a perfect design, exactly to my specifications, but they laid it out on my arm and did it exactly as I was hoping. The artist was very understanding about my negative reaction to the pain and helped work me through it, but after the tattoo was finished they made sure to cover it properly and gave out perfect instructions on what too do! 5/5, can't wait to go back!
