DO NOT COME HERE if you don't want to be treated badly or if you're disabled, as the woman working at the front desk is terribly rude and ableist. Please bear with me as this is long. This is my first time leaving a review ever because this needs to be said, I walked in yesterday because it was me and my husband's 5 year anniversary and we were doing a lot of fun and spontaneous activities, so I decided to go in the shop to get my helix re pierced because why not we were already in the area, so the front desk woman calls us up and asks why are we in today, my husband goes ahead and says hey how much would it be for a helix piercing? and she says "for you?" and points at my husband and he shakes his head no and says "no not me it's actually for her" and points at me and i'm right beside him, the woman looks at me and points her finger at my chest and says in a very rude, loud and disrespectful tone "and why are YOU not talking?" I was taken aback obviously, who wouldn't? I had never been spoken to like this before especially from someone that's supposed to be costumer service and that I've never met before, she said it like I owed her an explanation, I didn't say anything for a few seconds because I was processing the information, then I just point to my husband and say "I'm autistic, my husband speaks for me" the woman ignores me for another moment and looks down and starts getting a notebook probably to write us down and then looks back up and says "you said you're autistic?" I nod and whisper yes, my husband looks at me and says "let's go" and I say "okay, yeah" because I was super upset and about to cry at this point and he knew, the woman sees us leaving and yells "you sure?" my husband just says yes all set and we leave. I shouldn't have to explain to anyone why i'm not talking what if I didn't speak english or was mute and you're coming off saying that? I've always had my husband talk for me and we've never had this happen when I'm not with him I have my mom speak for me instead and if I'm alone I don't reach out to talk to anyone, I have extremely difficulty in socializing, talking and looking at people, and I have seen videos of people saying "as a costumer service worker, I think it's so weird when women let their man talk for them like speak up yourself" and I truly believe this is the social media disgusting misogynistic thought that this woman working had when talking to us, she just thought I wasn't being a "big girl" and was being "the submissive type" and not using my own words, I can talk for myself but I would rather not most of the time due to my social anxiety and disability, and there are a lot of women out there just like me as autism is more common in women than men but instead we get seen as rude, or some that are just shy or have severe social anxiety too and are trying to go out into the world, no one owes you an explanation, even if you wanted one there were a thousand other ways to say that respectfully, like "oh excuse me ma'am the piercing it's for you?" or "okay it's for her, that's fine it's this many dollars" but no, she was extremely rude to the point that it ruined the next couple of hours on our anniversary day because I had an anxiety attack about not being treated like a normal person just like everyone else even though I've never been rude to any worker before, and that was really uncalled for, you don't know what people go through or their personal lives so please keep your unprofessional opinions about men and women roles in a relationship to yourself, and I was also upset as I did not feel comfortable sharing my disability to that person as I don't know them and now I had felt like I shared something really personal and private that she did not deserve to know about me, clearly, so I was embarrassed, I shouldn't have to expose that for you to then measure your amount of understanding or sympathy to see if you can let the fact that my husband is speaking for me slide, I urge you to please reconsider this place if you or a family member is disabled. Thank you.

This was the most fun studio I've ever been to. Me and my family are visiting in boston for the first time and we always want a new pircing. Chloe was our piercer she was the sweetest person ever! The environment was so cute and fun. They knew what they were talking about. And was professional.

I had been wanting to get a double piercing on the lobe for a LONG time. And I had personally gotten through a really tough 2 years, so this was meant to be a personal celebration with my friend who wanted to accompany me (who had an appt after my appt). As soon as I came in (before my appt time), their greeting was that I needed to get pierced right away because they want to close at 7 (mind you it was 6:18pm and I just entered) by one lady in the front. She did not even let me ask questions and expected me to pick on spot which stud, this was my first STUD experience so I wanted to figure out which one i want!!! Other comments were made and I was told I could not wait for 7 minutes for my friend (on her way). The whole time I was looking at the earrings, she glared at me and interrupted saying that I will not be able to pierce my ears past 10 minutes (I was not even there for 5 minutes at this point). This whole situation not only greatly deepened my anxiety with needle piercings ( to the point where I felt queasy and uneasy during the whole piercing because she made me uncomfortable) , but I was more so frustrated for the customers and the staff there. I have never ever been treated like this anywhere on Earth. I think it is NOT kind and human to be bossing around people like that. I ended up piercing my ears without my friend there, and when she did come in time for her appt she also was treated rudely. Livvy the piercer was GREAT though! This is also my first time ever posting a Google review anywhere, because this was my genuine experience.

I got my piercings done with Chloe and she was amazing! She talked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the placement of my earrings before she did it. I will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get their earrings done here.

I had a really good experience at this place. They use high-quality materials, which made me feel safe for my piercing. The space is very clean, and they have separate areas for piercings, which feels professional and comfortable. The jewelry is also very good quality, perfect for healing. The staff is super kind and attentive, they made me feel calm the whole time. I definitely recommend this place!
