Embassy Tattoo

Got my septum pierced here on a Thursday at the end of May. It hurt way less than a nose piercing I got years ago from elsewhere. The pain was a 4/10. It healed great! No issues really. I was able to flick up and down easily pretty much as soon as I got it for work.

I had a great experience years ago. Now it feels like a nickel and dime operation. They did not want to take the time to plan bigger work. They just wanted a deposit and to move onto the next customer.

I came to embassy a week ago for the first part of what will eventually be a full sleeve (started with inner forearm) and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Huge thank you to the incredibly talented Sophia for bringing my vision to life. I came in only with a Day of the Dead concept and a rosary theme, and trusted her with creative freedom for the rest—and she absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. From the very beginning, Sophia and the staff at embassy made the entire process feel comfortable and collaborative. She took the time to understand my vision, added her own artistic touch, and made sure every detail flowed perfectly. The level of precision, shading, and realism in her work is next level. Also want to give a big shoutout to everyone at Embassy. The entire staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. As this was my first tattoo, I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but they made the experience smooth, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. This is just the beginning of my sleeve, and I’m already looking forward to going back. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo and want someone who truly cares about their craft and your vision, I can’t recommend her and the entire staff enough.

I’ve been to a bunch of different piercing places all over the DMV and this was the best piercing experience bar none. I worked with Matt for three piercings in one sitting; not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and has great hand, but he has the best eye for placement I’ve come across (been getting piercings for 15+ years) that takes into account your anatomy. Jackie was so helpful on the jewelry selection and recommendations. If you’ve been thinking about getting a piercing this is your sign that this is the spot for it. 12/10 experience.

This review is based on a Friday the 13th tattoo special event. This studio was very professional, clean, organized, and efficient in the process of lines of people for Friday the 13th $31 tattoos. I came in midday and only had to wait about an hour with 40+ people in front of me so this definitely wasn't their first rodeo - they nailed it down! The artist and receptionist staff were professional and patient which was great.
