Rose & Thorn Tattoo

Severely overpriced. Tattoo took 20 minutes. And setup took 40 minutes. The tattoos my wife and I received were small and we were charged $400 for both. After two days my red started looking funny so I messaged and asked if it was normal, and I was told not to message unless something was actually wrong with the tattoo. You can see the red looks weird after two days and the tattoo is small and definitely overpriced

me and my bf came to SF for my birthday and they were able to get us in for a tattoo. really nice shop, kind people, and great work! would recommend for anyone in SF looking for a good artist

Had an amazing experience at Rose & Thorn! Everyone is so welcoming and inviting. I had the pleasure of having James as my tattoo artist and he is absolutely amazing, in love with my new piece. It is just stunning! Would definitely come back, thanks again!!

Love this tattoo shop! Olivia has been doing my tattoos for years and every time I see her it’s like catching up with an old best friend! She is so kind and friendly. She just did my thigh tattoo and I am absolutely in love! She has excellent attention to detail, and really took her time to make sure it was perfect. She also has great customer service - constantly checked in with me during the appointment to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything. The shop is also super clean and easy to find off of 16th st Bart station. Couldn’t recommend this shop more! They take walk ins too and have lots of flash on the wall to look at so I recommend popping in to see what they are all about :)

Great spot! Stopped by when Knarly Gav was in town. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.
