Ian Reynold Tattoos

I searched for years for the right tattoo artist and then fell in love instantly with his unique style and gorgeous line work and shading the first time I saw it. I’ve worked with him on two separate pieces and both turned out perfect. He’s a sweet and amazing human and I felt very taken care of all the way through.

Everything about getting a tattoo from Ian was lovely. He is so warm and welcoming, the studio is calm and peaceful. It was just like hanging with a good friend and now I have a killer piece of art on me. I knew it would turn out well, but I was still so impressed with the outcome. Easily one of my favorite tattoos!

He's a fantastic artist with a steady hand and great intuition, and you can tell he's spent a lot of time refining his style. Really appreciated his eye for layout and detail, too! Got my first tattoo from Ian 7 years ago (my favorite tattoo to date!) and just went back for a second session (reworking another artist's tattoo that I didn't love) and Ian did magic once more and turned that other artist's botched tattoo into something beautiful! Ian Reynold is a great tattoo artist. I’ve gotten three pieces from him and really love them. His black ink, graphic-design style is super clean and unique, and his technique is excellent. He’s also a really nice person who makes the whole experience comfortable and easy. I always make a point to get tattooed by him when he comes through Chicago and would definitely recommend him.
