Funhouse Tattoo

I’ve got tattoos from here and have had nothing but positive experiences. So when I impulsively wanted a tattoo, I figured I’d go here. When I got to the shop, there’s only one artist in there so getting in the chair in the station prepped didn’t take long at all. I just wanted a small goose on my ankle and was maybe only in the chair for about 15-ish minutes. I did notice as I was actively being tattooed that the goose hurt more than my other’s did, but I chalked it up to it being on my ankle. Now I have well over 40 tattoos and have nailed down a pretty solid healing routine. I did start to notice when it heals. The vest of the goose is wearing was textured and had weird bumps all over it (which none of my others have). I was getting concerned, so I inevitably went to my regular tattoo artist (who doesn’t work at funhouse) to get it look at and touched up that I was told the vest of the goose was over worked and had scared. I have not been back since and most likely will never be back.

My daughter and I was in San Diego for vacation and wanted to get a tattoo together to represent our trips to San Diego. Fernando was amazing! Loved his personality and stories and his work was amazing. We wanted a fine line tattoo and they turned out just as we pictured!

My husband and I both got tattoos from Brandon, he was awesome! From the beginning the communication, helping us get the design right, then on the day of getting the tattoos he was very friendly! I can’t thank Brandon enough! We were visiting from Arizona, it was a great end of the vacation.

Anna Brown is AMAZING!!! I was visiting San Diego from Boston and Anna was very communicative leading up to my trip. She covered up an old tatt with a traditional design and I love it! Anna is very knowledgeable, personable, and talented. She checked in with me throughout the process and I felt very well taken care of. The overall vibe of the shop was relaxed, welcoming, and supportive. I highly recommend Funhouse, especially Anna!

*re-post because google was bugging out* I have nothing bad to say about this tattoo shop. I had an appointment with Paulie for my first tattoo EVER. I was a bit indecisive about what I wanted and changed my mind a few times and he bared with me and communicated with me throughout the entire process. He knew exactly what I wanted and we went for it. Being a huge Star Wars fan, I decided to get a traditional style Darth Vader tattoo on me and Paulie is a huge Vader fan as well so he was really passionate about every detail going into the tattoo. I've received so many compliments thanks to him! I love everything about my new ink. The details are beautiful and the colors go so well together. P.S They definitely have a crowd, so it's better to reach the artists by email through their site.
