Southside Tattoo

This is the only place I will go for tattoos! I have gotten 2 fine line tattoos by cupcake and he did AMAZING. He and everyone else in the shop are so friendly and funny. I was so nervous to get my first one but cupcake reassured me and made me feel at ease. If you’re in the Austin area definitely come here for a tattoo!!

My cousin and I have gotten 2 tattoos at this studio by Cupcake and he is absolutely amazing! Very nice and friendly and takes into consideration everything you want!! He is patient and takes his time. Not once did I feel rushed or worried that something may not turn out right. Great experience both times!! Can’t wait to come back for another!!

What an incredible place! The people in this shop is what makes it feel special and they are so attentive and willing to help make this experience special and meaningful. Bart was our family artist and he went above and beyond as he always does. Don’t walk… run here! I saw human kindness like no other… a young lady felt a little woozy and another artist sat with her until she felt better. Everyone walking in had a different story to tell and every single person walked out a beyond satisfied customer. We will keep coming back, no doubt!

Friendly, highly skilled and an incredibly diverse set of artists make this shop absolutely amazing. I've been going to years and jokingly call my trips a "therapy session". Noska has been working with me for years and has never let me down. The entire process has always been a pleasure. Go get some ink!

Came in looking for some good art and a flash design. Secretary was super helpful in talking about ideas right away. Unfortunately the artists flash book was stolen so there went too may designs available but they handed my books on books to look through and Jett Gunn still drew up something for me on the spot and was willing to work late to get some art on my body. Jett is a super nice guy and very talented at what he does, his traditional Japanese style with the empty space as highlights is incredible. Healed so nicely and quick . Will be back !
