Ever True Tattoo

Sequoia at Ever True Tattoo was so great to work with. I spontaneously got tattooed during their pop-up event at Beer Hall, and I was honestly a little nervous going into it, but I’m so glad I did. I had a sentimental tattoo idea that really mattered to me, and I felt like I could trust Sequoia with it right away. They brought it to life perfectly, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I also accidentally missed my appointment time, and instead of making me feel bad about it, they were super gracious and kind and got me in as soon as they could. I really appreciated that. Overall just such a good experience. Talented, professional, and easy to feel comfortable with. I’ll definitely be going back to Sequoia for future tattoos.

My friend and I did walk in today. We had Dayton, he was excellent. Very nice, reasonably priced, made sure we were comfortable and gave us exactly what we wanted. Would recommend.

Five stars all around!! This shop has great energy and Sequoia is my favorite artist in Portland. All of my tattoos by her have healed the best on my body, she is a technically and artistically exceptional artist. Sequoia tattoos with no ego and always puts my body and what I want first while offering gentle and knowledgeable guidance. I feel so safe and taken care of and I know her art will always heal well and stand the test of time. I could not recommend more. 💌 Picture attached is fresh but I’ve gotten much of my work done by her and I love it all!

I had visited all the places I wanted to see in downtown Portland. I was sitting across from Powell‘s bookstore. It was getting late in the afternoon. I was wearing shorts and it was getting a bit chilly. I simply googled tattoo shops near me -Ever True came up and was within walking distance. When I got inside the shop I knew I was in the right place. They asked me what I wanted and I said whatever you wanna put on me. Sequoia was my artist and she did an outstanding job filling in a space on my leg with the perfect traditional design. I got to chat with the owner Drat. Simply stated- i love this shop.

I am so impressed with my experience coming to this shop! This shop is on the second floor so its very private from street goers. There are couches in the waiting area with orginal art flash books and an entire floor to celling wall of hand painted flash that are so eye catching. They have water and stickers for customers along with jolly ranchers! My tattoo from Sequoia Rose was quick. I was quite nervous to get my back of calf done! She was light handed and knew exactly when I needed a bactine spray break! I am ever so grateful for the artists here at Ever True for making my experience so lovely. Dayton was welcoming in getting me settled in and I have already scheduled my next appointment for my other calf! Thank you, Drat for hosting such an awesome safe space
