Nathaniel, Big Trouble Tattoo I came to Nathaniel with an idea for my upper arm and immediately felt like I was in good hands. He took the time to talk through different concepts, offered thoughtful suggestions, and came up with a design that fit exactly what I was looking for. We completed the tattoo over three sessions, and every appointment was relaxed, professional, and enjoyable. The finished piece completely exceeded my expectations. The skull and snakes have incredible detail, the shading is smooth, and the overall composition is amazing. What impressed me most is how naturally the tattoo flows with the shape of my shoulder and arm. It doesn’t just sit on the body, it feels like it was designed specifically for it. Nathaniel’s style is incredible. His blend of neo-traditional and illustrative work, bold saturation, and attention to detail really make his tattoos stand out. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into every aspect of the design, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself. If you’re looking for an artist who creates custom work that’s both technically excellent and built to complement your body, I can’t recommend Nathaniel Gann at Big Trouble Tattoo enough! I’m beyond happy with how this piece turned out and will definitely be back for more work.

I loved my experience at Big Trouble Tattoo! It's in a great area with a lot of restaurants and shops. Walking up the stairs you see a lot of great artwork from different artists and that continues once you get into the actual shop. There is gorgeous artwork everywhere you turn. The store is super clean and laid out nicely. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was there to get my second tattoo from Aidan. He is such a great artist and made me feel super comfortable while getting this tattoo. It's the biggest one I've ever gotten and he was very patient and kept checking in on me throughout. The other artists came up and chatted with me too and the friendliness calmed my nerves as well. I will definitely visit again for my next tattoo

I met Aidan Monahan at a local art show and loved his style! I found out he was a tattoo artist and we chatted about getting something done. I reached out to him and was able to schedule something a few months out, and my tattoo was executed beautifully! I have many other tattoos, and I can say Aidan has a gentle hand and is quick as well. My tattoo is now 7 months old and has healed amazingly and I have gotten tons of compliments. I actually think the colors look better healed than when it was fresh, which is saying a lot because it was amazing fresh! Aidan is a true artist who clearly knows how the inks will heal and picks his colors and makes designs with care! He also is very welcoming, kind, and great to chat with. The shop itself was easy to find, a great location in North Park right on 30th, and it was bright, open, clean, and welcoming. Aidan's station is colorful, fun, and comfortable. He was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the whole time while sitting to get tattooed and took breaks as needed. He always has amazing original flash, but he was very open to my idea, and gave me the Rainbow Brite tattoo of my dreams! Highly recommended this tattoo shop. I was in town and wanted to get a piece on a whim and the artist Luis happened to have some walk in availability. He was able to take care of me and my partner. Great dude to talk to and his work is fantastic. I asked for a simple cardinal that came out solid and my partner got a great, detailed image of his motorcycle key.
