I loved everything about this spot. Clean, friendly staff, lively conversation and talented artists. Found Dom of on FB, sent him a pic and let him know what I wanted. Turned out I was communicating with the owner and had know idea. He was honest in letting me know that color was not his specialty and immediately put me in contact with one of his artists that specialized in color and cover ups. Myke did not disappoint. He was so professional, detail oriented and brought my vision to fruition. He exceeded my expectations to say the least and even made me shed a few happy tears. I am over the moon and will be headi g back soon for another tattoo. Be sure to go by and get some fresh ink.

They do great work here! This was my first tattoo after years of procrastinating. My tattoo artist was Mike Whyt. He did exactly what I asked for and explained every step. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Ria Rabitt was my artist and I absolutely love my piece she created!! Booking was super easy and she was very responsive to my inquiry. She recommended colors that would compliment my skin tone as I was unsure which colors to choose. She constantly checked on me to make sure I didn’t need a break during the session. Will return to this location to get tattooed by her again!!

Got my first tattoo done by Dom (Preso). Great experience 10/10. He’s super knowledgeable about his craft, and incredibly detailed and thorough. He even checked in on me afterwards to make sure the tattoo was healing properly. Definitely go check this shop out!

My experience with Ria Rabbit was really disappointing. She was late to every appointment by hours like 1-2 hours which is ridiculous and not once did she apologize for it if you know you have an appointment with someone you should be there period. Her communication was unprofessional from the start. I filled out her prompt with my inspo, sizing, budget, and photo references. We agreed on a $500 tattoo, so I assumed we were on the same page. But when I got there, she made me wait almost an hour, then had me wait another 30 minutes while she sketched the design. I was okay with the changes she made to the words for longevity, but style-wise, the design was completely different from what I asked for. On top of that, I had an allergic reaction to numbing cream. While she gave some advice, it wasn’t what I expected from a professional. Instead of saying, “Your skin is too irritated, let’s reschedule,” she just kept repeating, “That’s why I don’t like numbing cream,” and said she wouldn’t really know how bad it was until she started tattooing. That didn’t sit right with me and I already knew it wasn't safe myself with my skin like that, so we ended up rescheduling. After that, it became almost impossible to get a hold of her. I told her I’d get back to her about the reschedule date because I wasn’t 100% sure about the one, we originally picked. She said that was fine and told me to let her know. I called her three hours later no answer. I followed up again the next day still nothing. Eventually, when I finally reached her, she made excuses about being busy, but it just felt like she wasn’t taking me seriously. Then I found out that the tattoo I wanted would actually cost more than $500 due to the sizing. I was frustrated if she had taken the time to look closely at the photos or done a proper evaluation beforehand, I would’ve known that from the beginning and could’ve made an informed decision. Instead, I was already locked in and dealing with all this confusion. I asked for my $100 deposit back, and she said it was non-refundable but offered to give me a smaller tattoo instead. I showed up for that appointment, and once again, she was over 2 hours late, with no apology. Then, after the tattoo, she tried to charge me an additional $50 on top of the $100 deposit that was supposed to cover it. That felt shady and unprofessional, especially since she never mentioned beforehand that I’d owe more. Overall, this whole experience was irritating, stressful, and full of miscommunication. I wouldn’t book with her again.

Atmosphere, artists, experience and customer service here are second to none. Came in with only a vague idea of what I wanted. All I knew was I wanted a big cat and I wanted it to be unique. Jose delivered with an awesome original piece.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Dominic Carter at RIPPD Canvas for nearly six years, and his work continues to blow me away every single time. Each piece he’s done for me has not only held up beautifully, but somehow surpasses the last his growth and consistency as an artist are incredible. Dominic has that rare combination of technical precision and artistic vision. Whether I come in with a detailed idea or just a loose concept, he always brings it to life in a way that feels elevated, intentional, and uniquely mine. His linework, shading, and overall composition are flawless — you can tell he puts real thought and care into every piece he does. Beyond the talent, he’s just a solid human being to work with. He makes the process smooth, collaborative, and comfortable, and he truly listens. There’s never any ego just passion, professionalism, and a genuine love for the craft. RIPPD Canvas is lucky to have him, and I feel lucky to have found someone I can trust so completely with my body art. Dominic isn’t just my go-to tattoo artist — he’s been a key part of my personal journey and expression through ink. If you’re looking for next-level work and an artist who delivers every single time, Dominic Carter is the one. Beauty is pain :)
