I’m super picky when it comes to tattoos and choosing the right artist. It honestly took me over a year to find a shop and someone I could really trust, someone whose style matched mine, had good vibes, and wasn’t insanely expensive or overly selective. Yesterday, I finally got my 4th tattoo (and my first one in Seattle!) and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I went to Lake and they did such an amazing job, seriously brought my idea to life perfectly. The studio is really open and welcoming, everyone there is super nice, and it’s literally walking distance from my apartment (which is a little dangerous for my wallet tbh). Definitely planning to go back and I can already tell this is gonna be my regular spot for the long run.

I stumbled across this place on my way to pike place. Visiting all the way from Texas and everyone was so friendly and helpful. This was my first tattoo ever and Mike was so creative. He talked me through the whole process and I loved my results. Highly recommend this parlor to anyone looking to get tattoos!

True Love is the only place I plan to get tattooed in Seattle… the collective space is great! Very welcoming shop, I like how open it is, and all the artists I met seem cool and nice. There is a wide diversity of art styles and SO MUCH TALENT between all the artists. I am getting a sleeve done by Vox, and my experience so far is wonderful! I chose Vox for their beautiful whimsical designs, bright colors work, and specifically the watercolor style. They worked with me to design my sleeve until it was exactly what I wanted, and gave suggestions to make it even better. They are great about making sure I’m comfortable, asking if I need a break, and was direct that consent can be withdrawn at any time. Vox is cool with answering all my questions about what they are doing and why, also with distraction-chatting, or silence! I highly recommend Vox and the True Love team/shop overall 🤘

Visiting Seattle for my birthday and came in as a walk-in. Got ink from Mike and he was super friendly! He has a lot of fun flash and art, and he was super friendly and chatty with my partner and I. The place is clean and accepting, made me feel comfortable. I’d comeback to Seattle just to get ink there again!

I visited True Love back in August '24 after reaching out to a number of shops in the Seattle area to get a sentimentally important tattoo done. The shop was welcoming and Bunky was Awesome! She's a talented artist and worked with me on the piece. In the end I got my tattoo and absolutely love it!! Great place, very inclusive, excellent artists. Thanks guys!
