Whiskey River Tattoo

Took my mother who has alzheimers to get her ears pierced here-so she can sleep in the flat backs. While we are waiting, she spills a tray of their earings everywhere. She was SO embarrassed & not one person in the shop was rude. They told her over & over again it was all good. The receptionist (im so mad I cant remember her name) was on the floor picking them up & just still being so comforting to my mom. I love this place. They are the nicest & funnest people ever. They had my mom giggling the whole time.

Piercings with Stacy were great! Will 100% be back for more when these are healed.

The staff was nice and friendly. They were helpful and patient with me. Also, lots of cute earring styles to choose from.

Stopped by to inquire about getting my girls ears pierced. Very nice inside, extremely welcoming vibes, super friendly staff. Stacy took the time to look over my oldest ones ears from where they had been pierced before. A tad out of my price range for 3 at once, but still looking around. Everyone there we had interactions with were informative, kind, & patient.

Izzy was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I got my first tattoo with her and she explained everything and it was exactly what I wanted, she worked wonderfully and made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 will be coming back

Both my wife and I came here to get multiple piercings and every time we came in, every single person we talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. They weren’t afraid to tell us that we should wait to get more piercings so our bodies had time to heal instead of just worrying about making more money. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and safety and cleanliness was their primary concern. I would absolutely come back here for anything in the future if we weren’t moving. I recommend everyone come talk to them if you want piercings or tattoos.

I will rave about this place till the day I die probably!!! Everyone in here is so extremely welcoming and comfortable to work with! Will always give you the reality when it comes to what you’re going for and they CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!!! Anyone will answer any questions about anything at all! And they will ALWAYS hype you up, you’ll leave feeling like the most magical human!! Moral of the story. You definitely gotta go. I will never go anywhere else!!

Wow! We found Whiskey River on a whim while visiting VA Beach and searching for reputable tattoo places. From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to love it. Katherine (apologies if it's spelled wrong!) was so welcoming and went out of her way to contact an artist to see if our walk-in ideas would be a possibility today, and told us she would give us a call if it worked out. We decided to stick around town, grab some coffee, and wait it out in hopes we would hear something soon. Sure enough, she made it happen, and we were able to be tattooed by the incredibly talented artist Alley (equally personable and a blast to chat with in the chair). We could not be happier with our art and experience. Thank you all!
