Inked CLE

I went to Inked CLE because of Rodney, as he did my first tattoo at another shop. Everyone in the shop is so friendly and down to earth. Rod does amazing work everytime. He is not only patient and kind, but also does not judge and is always willing to work with you so you feel comfortable before the permanent work. The first tattoo he did was a sunflower with a mix of different pieces and he made it so original. Coming in to Inked CLE I had a vision, just was unsure how to put it together. Rod did amazing as I got a saying in fine cursive and an outline of my pup! His work is always clean and executed perfectly. Thank you for an amazing experience and I will for sure be back!

Got a piece done with some cultural significance to me and Matt KILLED IT! Easy to book with very receptive and flexible on design details. I found him on instagram and saw his very large catalog with a huge array of lettering styles. He’s been doing unique and talented work for many years. It was a no brainer if you’re wanting a lettering piece done Matt is the guy. I instantly felt like part of the InkedCLE family when I came in. Rod, Reese, b, faith everyone was very welcoming this was the first session and I’m coming back the 25th to finish . He has a huge knowledge of depth control and spacing. I was carpenter by trade for a decade and things lining up was a big concern of mine but I didn’t have to even mention it he got things lined up perfectly. Him and I have a lot in common I found out and we’ve spoke a lot since. Great artist, great dude. Professional in all areas. I went in for a walk in on August 6th to get a linework tattoo of the Salvador Dali clock on my forearm. The lettering guy, Marc I believe?, did it for me. The tattoo itself felt rushed as it did not take even a full 10 min to complete. I didn’t think of it at the time but I found it a bit odd that he did not shave my arm beforehand. I left the tattoo shop feeling happy but when I got home and sat to look at it I cried for a long time and started thinking about getting it touched up as soon as possible. I realized how thick, choppy, uneven, and blurred the lines were. I felt uncomfortable bringing up my issues with the artist who did it for me so I ended up getting it touched up at True Art tattoos and it’s looking better now. Just wanted to leave a review to warn others of the possible issues they may have. I provided a photo of the day I received it, a few days after, the healed tattoo a month later and my touch up done at True Art tattoos. I spent $100 and tipped $30 on the original tattoo and spent an additional $100 with tip to somehow fix up the lines a bit. It was embarrassing getting a touch up a month after I had gotten the tattoo but it was needed.

I got my very first tattoo with Faith, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was kind, gentle, and truly caring throughout the process. The tattoo is extra meaningful—it’s my mom’s handwritten name from a birthday card, and my mom recently passed away. Faith treated it with such respect and compassion. I’ll cherish this tattoo forever.

I had a day off and randomly choose a place that took walk ins. I was connected with an artist who was amazing and really took the time to get the details I wanted. Thank you so much. Life is short get something that means the world to you. A new tattoo :)
