Big Bear Tattoo

Ryan Helmering did a wonderful job on my tattoo! The staff responded quickly when I reached out. Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean. I also took my daughter here for a nose and eyebrow piercing. She got a little lightheaded and they took extra care and attention to make sure she was OK. I highly recommend this studio!

AMAZING!! Let me start by saying I’ve wanted to get a tattoo from BigBear for years. I finally pulled the trigger — and here’s my experience: The shop was incredibly clean, and the overall aesthetic was both comfortable and super cool. Everyone had their own personal touches at their stations, which made it feel really welcoming. And let me tell you, everyone — from the staff to the other customers — was so sweet and made me feel right at home! From booking a consultation to getting one of my tattoos retouched, and finally getting some new ink — the entire process was a BREEZE! As someone who works your typical Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule, it can be tough to make appointments. But everyone — from Kelly (who helped with scheduling) to Wolfman (who did my artwork) — was so flexible, and I seriously can’t thank them enough. Now, onto the actual piece… Wolfman is OUTSTANDING. He’s kind, understanding, funny, and really listens to your wants, needs, and concerns. He was genuinely excited to do this piece — which is always awesome, to have the artist just as excited as you are. And let me just say — he did a phenomenal job. I’m constantly getting compliments! His attention to detail is incredible, and he has such a gentle touch. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for the way he captured my sweet boys. Thank you all so much — I’ll definitely be returning! 😂

Great place went there fifteen years ago , tattoo still looks great. Design my own tattoo. They help fine tune and put it on.

This was my first tattoo. I did something very special to me and I am doing with 2 of the most important people in my- my sisters! Wolfman was excellent!!! He educated me and helped keep me calm. The tattoo is perfect!!! I would highly recommend him and this place!!!

We came in on a Saturday to get walk ins bc they had time, we get there and they filled up so we booked an appointment for the following Tuesday. We get there and they “misplaced” all our info and our tattoos and said they didn’t have time for us AGAIN. We were fully planning on tipping 50-100% and instead they treated us rudely and brushed us off bc we’re two young girls. We immediately took ourselves elsewhere and got much better service!!

I set an appointment. I have life events happen and they were very understanding. I got four tattoos. The entire time they made sure I was comfortable and I was okay through the whole process. I was there from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. It was fast. I was even offered a snack/Capri Sun, which they didn’t even have to do. I high recommend. Very professional, very caring. Thank you to Big Bear Tattoo. I will definitely be coming back.

I hate leaving bad reviews but honestly was taken advantage of here. I got my Labret pierced and immediately the woman goes "I think that's crooked I might have to repeirce it" it was so painful and not a smooth piercing experience at all that I just said please don't and figured it wasn't too bad. I went to another shop to have them evaluate it and give me options, only to find out that the post was too small, it was way too crooked to fit a peircing properly, and it was pierced with surgical steel, not implant grade titanium, so I had an immediate allergic reaction and my lip was infected. When I reached out about it being crooked and wanting it re pierced I got no response. Now though, I know I will never return for any piercing related business.

It a good tattoo shop so far. 😀
