I struggle with migraines and decided after a lot of my own research that I wanted to get my Daiths pierced. I heard about Frenchtown Tattoo from a friend. I was greeted right when I walked in and they helped me get signed in as a walk-in customer. Grasshopper did my piercings and he was very professional and friendly. He has many years of experience, he answered my questions, explained what he was doing, and made sure I was comfortable during the process. He gave me instructions verbally and written to take home on after care and the healing process. I was there from maybe 20 mins total from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out. Short and sweet. I think the pain of the procedure depends on the persons pain tolerance and the location of the piercing, but I am pleasantly surprised at how little it hurt during and even hours later. Grasshopper did an amazing job and I highly recommend him!

My 12-year-old was ready to get her ears pierced and I have been wanting a helix piercing for a while, so we went together! She got sick afterwards and Grasshopper was very reassuring, which was very kind of him and I appreciated greatly. My only note is that we didn't realize we needed a photo of her birth certificate to prove I was the parent bringing her, but other than that it was the perfect experience. I will only go here for tattoos or piercings!

FrenchTown Tattoos is absolutely amazing! Ian did a fabulous job on my dragon tattoo — the detail, artistry, and care he put into it blew me away. He also created a very meaningful tattoo for my husband to honor his heart transplant and donor, and it couldn’t have turned out more beautiful. Ian took the time to listen, understand the significance, and bring our visions to life with such skill and compassion. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and professional, and the whole experience was comfortable from start to finish. Great art, great vibes! Very comfortable and clean shop with welcoming atmosphere. The music selection has been excellent, not the industrial noise metal that makes it difficult to relax like other places. The artists seem to genuinely get along, and have a good time joking around and checking out each other’s work. I’ve had 3 sessions with Jamey, and love the tattoos he’s done for me. Jamey has been easygoing and collaborative, he’s easy to hangout with and does great work.

My partner and I walked in for two small tattoos and had a great experience with Dharma and Hannah! They were very thorough and polite in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The shop is also a clean and relaxed environment. We will surely be back for more ink soon!

I took my 12 year old daughter to get her helix done this afternoon. Grasshopper was absolutely wonderful for her and had her completely relaxed while having this done. She is very happy with her piercing and as her mom, I was happy that she had a good experience and a well done piercing.

Walked in on a Saturday, Hannah and Dharma got us right in and did amazing work! We will definitely be back. 🩷
