I would highly recommend Sidequest Collective and Kaylan. It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten at tattoo and they made it so easy and friendly. I’ve been following Kaylan on so social media and reached out to her through Instagram. She was responsive and was able to squeeze me in this weekend. She was very helpful in the design and placement of my 2 tattoos. The shop is bright and clean. Already thinking about more tattoos and piercings.

Booked for my 7 year old daughter under the large amount of recommendations in the KC mom's FB page. They were very professional and clean. No inappropriate content around the space for her to be exposed to, which we appreciated. Thoroughly explained every step to my daughter and us before she did anything. Highly recommend! $188 (including cleaning solution)+tip. Came with cute goodie bag!

I've had a few small tattoos done at other shops around the Kansas City area, but, after my session at Side Quest Collective with the wonderful artist Kaylan Ballard, I'll never go to another shop again! I had the best tattoo experience of my life!!! The shop is clean and welcoming to all! Everyone I had the pleasure of meeting was kind and patient. Kaylan is a master at her craft and creates the most beautiful, intricate designs! No matter what you're looking for, Side Quest Collective has the artist and atmosphere for you! They're prices are fair, and you will leave with a tattoo that exceeds expectations!!!

I am OBSESSED with the ACOTAR-themed tattoo Kaylan did for me! The line work, shading, and details are absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to finish this piece and continue getting future tattoos from her. Along with Kaylan being the best, everyone else at the shop was also very kind and helpful whenever needed. The building itself is beautiful, spotless, and welcoming—I feel more than comfortable bringing my kids if needed, as it’s a very family-friendly environment. I highly recommend this tattoo shop for any of your future tattoo ideas!
