This place is fantastic! It’s undergone a few changes, but I’m glad they’re still around. I visited four different tattoo shops before finally finding them. I got my first and only tattoo from them in August 2020. The artist who used to work there designed it himself.
They never pick up the phone. Tattoo artists do questionable tattoos. One artist, Jess, completed a confederate flag tattoo and displayed it on their facebook page like there’s nothing wrong with that… Alice did a vertical labret, free handed, and when she pierced it she went to far and caught the tip of my nose as well. My ear piercings from here have also healed weirdly. There’s a reason it’s cheap. I do recommend Alicia tho for tattoos she does great fine line work.
Unprofessional for a basic lobe piercing
the process of getting a design from the artist was very frustrating. i got my design the night before getting tattooed, and when i responded with notes and questions, i didn't get a response til the next day (the day of the tattoo). the artist asked me very little questions regarding the design i wanted and gave me very little variation to choose from, which i was asking for. the artist also kept calling me "girly," without asking if that's something i’m comfortable with, which i’m not. it made me uncomfortable and hurt not to be asked. i should have spoke up but i was nervous to do so. the tattoo experience was fine. it was very quick. but i’m honestly not happy with the results. as you can see there are multiple spots where there are mistakes. the lines aren’t straight, etc. it's just not a clean tattoo. this was my first tattoo and i didn't know what it would be like, and i didn't expect to be as frustrated as i was. i would have appreciated being asked questions from the artist so they could fully understand what i wanted, i would have appreciated getting the design way quicker, and i would have appreciated a much cleaner product...
I’ve gotten an arm tattoo here from Alexis!! She did a great job and is very personable! I love my new tattoo!!
Alexis did an amazing job. We took breaks when needed. She has a light hand & a great attention to detail! Amazing work!
Dangerous to get pierced here. I got two cheekbone dermals pierced and the piercer Alice pressed down on the fresh dermal when she saw it was sticking out. I felt her press down so hard her hand was shaking and my sister was sweating from watching. She didn't change her gloves after she spun me in the chair and continued to pierce me. She suggested that if i see it coming up more i should press down on it which its terrible advice. If it was pierced right in the first place it shouldn’t doing that at all. When i asked if i should cover it when i wash my hair she suggested that the dirty shampoo being rinsed from my hair would clean it. Thats when i knew going there was a mistake but no going back. I handed her $100 and just thanked her and left hoping for the best. Now after a week of using sterile saline wash and a bandaid at night its clearly too close to the surface. For obvious reasons i didnt go back. When i confront the piercer and ask how she could charge for a piercing she cant even preform right or give advice for, she says im being disrespectful and refuses to read my message about the above experience. She immediately blames me for the issue saying i didnt listen to her advice. Why is the other one perfectly fine then? The only one thats having an issue is the one she caused unnecessary trauma to. She then proceeds to ignore everything I say and does everything to blame me saying I should’ve come in, as if they can fix it. She accuses me of lying about her hand pressing down and shaking but I literally felt it. Then she lied saying she warned me about rejection but she barely talked during the appointment and definitely didn’t tell me about that. I already knew rejection rates but this was botched from the start. Im not the only one who has had an experience like this with the piercers here blame the client for an improper piercing placement. And I suspect any response from them will echo the same sentiment that the piercer never did anything wrong.
