I liked the girl that did my tattoo. She was so nice and gentle.

Loved it, showed up as a walk in and every interaction I had was pleasant. Anthony did my tattoo and he nailed it! It looks fantastic. he was very kind and made me feel comfortable through the whole experience, not only that but it didn’t take as long as I thought which is always a plus. The guy that checked me in was very welcoming unfortunately I forgot his name but overall the experience was 10/10 I’ll be back for the next one 😝

Tony was extremely nice, patient, and gave an idea when I was unsure on what exactly I had wanted to do. He was quick and the tattoo turned out great. Even though I had gotten a small, simple tattoo there would have still been room for error but none with Tony! If you live in the area, or are in town and looking to get a tattoo, I highly recommend going to Grand Avenue Tattoo!!

Went in for a walk-in and the experience was fantastic! Brian did a great job and the entire shop was very welcoming. (Queer and Plus sized woman here and felt right at home and respected) Had a great time and and I'm absolutely grateful!

They've done 3 of my tattoos here including a cover up and I'll always come back. The staff is friendly , the space is clean and I always felt welcome

Walked in right at open for my first time getting a tattoo, all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Whole process took less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. Extremely satisfied with my experience, will definitely be returning in the future!

My partner and I went here for walk-in tattoos. The staff was just delightful. We had pretty simple tattoos but they were done excellently and in a pretty quick turn around. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a day of walk in tattoo.

Ransom has been doing my tattoos for the better part of 10 years now - since before he opened GAT! I absolutely love my tattoos - they’ve all healed perfectly, I get lots of compliments on them and their vibrancy. He recently finished an arm sleeve for me and I’ve already started planning the other arm. Every time I’ve gone into this shop everyone is super sweet and friendly. All of the artists are extremely talented - friends of mine have gone to Honey and Tony specifically and love their tattoos. Max was there often when I was in the shop and every tattoo I saw him do was a banger. I saw Georgia a couple times as well and loved her work. I really think I could go to anyone here and tell them to just go crazy and I would walk out happy. Shoutout to Elizabeth as well - she is so sweet and helpful and you can tell everyone that comes into the shop just loves her immediately.

***Let me preface this review by stating that I have been to ~10 different tattoo shops in my lifetime. Grand Ave Tattoo happened to be the closest option for my sister and I as we considered places to do walk-ins for simple matching mushroom tattoos. We went into Grand Ave Tattoo where we were immediately immersed in not only fun music, chill vibes, but also the kindest staff I’ve ever encountered in a shop. Gray whipped up a design for us within minutes of hearing our concept, and even tailored each piece to the individual styles my sister and I both have in our other work on our bodies. As we waited mere minutes to be ready to be tattooed, we chatted with every artist in the shop and it felt like we were amongst friends we’d known for years. Gray has one of the lightest yet solid hands I’ve ever sat for. They did a part of my ditch and I didn’t even want to cry. It was so fast, I almost didn’t want to get out of the chair because we were in the middle of a great conversation and I wanted to hang out longer. With great aftercare advice, both my and my sister’s lil’ mushroom pieces by Gray healed faster than any other piece I have on my body. I couldn’t believe how lucky we were to be blessed by the impromptu tattoo idea gods and be met with the amazingness of Gray. The eclectic styles of all the artists are featured in floor-to-ceiling examples, and I found like fifteen additional things I want to go back for. I left the shop already moving money in my bank account to save up for my next appointments. This was the most comfortable, fun, and easy tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
