She somehow always draws up exactly what I’m looking for while exceeding any and all expectations I had. The studio is beautiful and welcoming. Nick was very professional, friendly, and thorough in both our online consultation as well as during the appointment. Our 8yr old got her lobes pierced and had a positive experience and loves her new piercings!

Came in from NJ with my family (our 7month old son’s first trip to Maine!) and wanted to commemorate the trip with a tattoo of his footprints. This was a studio I’d been following and was hopeful for an appt. Was able to chat with Kara and we found time that worked. Everyone at the shop was smiling and friendly and Kara was so welcoming. We had a great time chatting while she worked (very efficiently at that!). Her creativity with the design was amazing and the tattoo exceeded my expectations. I love it! Kara is a gem and wonderful at her chosen profession. Check these guys out if you want a tattoo! Thanks, guys!

Absolutely incredible experience start to finish. The entire crew from front desk to every artist I interacted with was so friendly and helpful! I went to Mario specifically for my tattoo, and I could not be any more in love with mine and my mother's new matching maine blueberry sprigs. He worked with us on scheduling as we were just passing through Portland not staying there, and his work is incredible. I would make the drive from NJ to ME in a heartbeat to go back to Mario/Brass and Briar. Thanks again, and make sure you book with this studio!!!
