Taboo Tattoos and Piercings

Won the free piercing giveaway on Facebook and the piercer was so nice! She was even a bit surprised that we still tipped haha. Nice environment despite the rough-ish exterior

I got a tattoo by Jade back in December 2024 and already have plans to get it covered up it was so bad. I asked if she could make me a custom piece which meant so much to me and it’s absolutely terrible. I texted her my idea way before booking just to see if this was something she was comfortable doing or done before. She seemed super confident that she could do it, so I booked. It was mainly dot work and my tattoo isn’t even dots, she dragged out the dots so it’s tiny lines. No one can even recognize what my tattoo is (it’s an animal). I also tried making conversation with her as she was doing my tattoo and she replied with one word responses and seemed very much like talking was an inconvenience to her. I understand some artists won’t talk much, but I wish she would’ve let me known beforehand as talking calms my nerves and makes me feel more comfortable. There was also no table to lay my arm on so it was quite literally hanging off the bed as I was getting tattooed. As soon as I seen my tattoo I wanted to cry but I knew if I said anything she would only make it worse, so I immediately lied said I loved it and left the shop as soon as I could. I will never be going back and I hope this review really changes peoples minds about going. It was overall the worst tattoo experience I’ve ever had and I have 15 tattoos. PLEASE PLEASE do not go here.

We took our 6 year old to Taboo Tattoos and Piercings because she decided she wanted her ears pierced. Jane and the other staff were wonderful with her. They took the time to make her feel comfortable and safe. All the while explaining things in a way a child can understand. If your child wants their ears pierced this is the place to go.

I absolutely loved my service here, the lady that pierced my nose was super sweet. Very patient with me and made sure I was good afterwards. 10/10 will go back if I want anything else !
