Poke A Dotz Tattoos and Piercings

My mom took my sister to get her ears pierced yesterday and not only were the staff unprofessional but there was a lack of consistency when checking birth certificates for minors. A few of her other friends went as well and some parents were asked for birth certificates while others were not and a group of minors were not asked at all. The parent which is the adopted mother was listed on the birth certificate and they told her that her daughter could not be pierced even though her name is on the birth certificate, just as it was for her biological daughter. This was very disappointing to hear as this is an establishment that I recommended they all go to due to my previous experiences. I hope further training is given to all staff for clarity and consistency, as this is a trusted business in the community.

If I could give zero stars I would but fortunately for their sake I had to select in order to leave a review! I just took my daughter to get her ears pierced and to our surprise the holes she had weren't fully closed! Although I'm sure the lady who does the piercings could tell this by looking at her holes she acted as though she could only be fully certain by putting the earring into my daughter's ear and guess what? Her ears WERE ALREADY PIERCED!! I was charged $63.00 to have someone put earrings into my daughter's ear, which is DIABOLICAL. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. And I would like add that I noticed that some people with minors were asked for birth certificates while others were not, I was one of the people who was not asked although my child is only 12.

I got my horizontal eyebrow piercing done here by Giggz, and the whole experience was amazing! She was super nice, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable right away. The piercing itself was really quick, and she explained everything clearly. It’s been about 4 days since I got it, and it’s healing really well with no issues. Definitely recommend this place, and especially Giggz, if you’re thinking about getting a piercing!!

I went in for high nostril, to stretch one of my nose piercings to put back in jewelry and to remove my septum clicker due to having difficulty taking it out myself. Eve was able to help me with all of these, educated me on the process of getting high nostrils pierced and the recovery process and ensure my piercings looked symmetrical. Definitely a great experience as always with poke a dotz.

Highly recommend! Matrix was quick and precise with my septum piercing, and patient to answer all of my questions about aftercare and when I can change my jewelry out once it’s fully healed. The piercing itself was nearly painless and the shop was clean, the staff was friendly, and I felt comfortable being cared for by an all fem staff. The jewelry selection is expansive and beautiful, especially if you’re looking for gold pieces. I plan to return in the future for more piercings! My septum was only $50 which is very reasonable!

Amazing service everytime I come in. Girls are super knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions I may have. Got my smiley pierced with Eve today and I absolutely love it.

Took my young daughter here for earlobe piercing. Daughter was excited. I was nervous as I was traumatized as a child. It went so smoothly. I was surprised how quick and efficient it was. Our piercer was a young lady and very professional. My daughter loves her piercing and the experience was 10/10. $50. Highly recommend! Beautiful store too!

Cherry was so nice and informative! They helped me through my first piercing (labret) and walked me through every step they were doing to ease my nervousness!! You can tell they are very experienced!
