Woodys Old School Tattoos and Piercings

I brought a tattoo in for Woody to do on 10/20/21. He was late by 2 hrs. His staff cracked jokes saying this was typical. I had driven 2 hrs for the piece and was not leaving til I saw Woody. He showed up scattered and he worked my skin so bad, because he was eager to do this all in one seating, that my tattoo scabbed over horribly, causing the tattoo to pull ink out and create a hard as rock, painful scab. My leg finally healed. I heard nothing from Woody after letting him know. He swore it was my skin reacting weird and not the bad method of tatting. He even stated his ink may be old. I am heavily tattooed and never had this happen. It's been clear from the healing that the issue was the method applied to create the tattoo, not the ink, or my skin. Then, months later, he starts emailing me creepy messages like, 'when are you going to let me finish your tattoo before you get famous?' Random and Delusional. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I went to have some initials done and I regret my decision. The letters are not identical the letters are a lot bigger than I anticipated them to be and on top of that I didn't get a quote in the beginning, his daughter did the lettering, it definitely is not the best lettering at all and once done I was asked if I was given a quote I stated no and was given the price of 175 for some lettering that I am now seeking tattoo removal for it's been less than 24 hours and I absolutely hate the tattoo, Dan is no longer there, after reading the reviews I see that he was the one that was the great artist I blame myself for being a people pleaser but I also blame the artist as he had his daughter who has no tattoos and it's very young doing the art she's inexperienced and I'm so disappointed with the entire experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I feel like I was taking advantage of and ripped off I pray that I can get it removed expeditiously.

Jesse is th ultimate professional and a top tier ratio artist. I have scheduled another session and am currently getting ideas for my next piece of art. Would highly recommend Iron Ink Tatoos and will be scheduling future sessions. I am officially a fan!!!

I’ve been tattooed here before and had a great experience, which is why I was excited to return for their Black Friday deal. Unfortunately, this recent experience left me really disappointed. When I stopped by during the sale, the shop was understandably busy. They told me they could get me in over the weekend and assured me I could still lock in the deal. I confirmed everything, asked about the possibility of bringing my own design, and was told Sunday at 4 PM would work. I agreed and was looking forward to it. But then… nothing. I followed up, asked again about the design details, and got no response. Days went by without a single message back—even though we had a confirmed appointment. It was frustrating to be left hanging like that after taking the time to coordinate everything. A simple “Hey, I’ll get back to you soon” would have gone a long way. I’ve been a client since 2020, and while my first experience was great, this latest one really soured things for me. At this point, I’m hesitant to book again. If they reach out and try to make it right, I’m open to updating this review—but as it stands, this was a letdown.

I’ve gotten so many tattoos from blue a lot of cover ups from other artists, he makes the experience amazing makes sure I’m comfortable and happy. I love coming here, Dan the piercer is also amazing I’ve know him for years he did my belly button 7 years ago and I love this shop so so much

Dan is a very friendly and professional piercer. He explained everything so thoroughly, it was the most comfortable piercing experience ive ever had.

Every Experience I here is always positive! I have gotten many piercings here now and Dan is always so good at calming my nerves and being professional. You can tell he has years of experience with how quick and precise his piercings are. Highly recommend if you are new and nervous or if you need a new piercer for crazy good prices!

My partner was getting their first piercing and Dan was so nice, explaining the whole process step by step to help their anxiety.
