Urban's Tattoo & Piercing Studio South

Urban's Tattoo South in Arlington is the coolest tattoo shop I have ever been to. The studio was ultra clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were engaging. James was my tattoo artist and he was the best! I could not have asked for a better experience. James was fun and funny. The tattoo came out better than I could have imagined. This studio deserves 20 stars. I live a great distance away, but it was worth it. They have a customer for life! I would be okay with any of the artists doing work on me at Urban's , but James is my artist and I will go to them for all of my future business!

I can’t recommend James Templin enough! He’s done three of my tattoos, including a cover-up, and every single one turned out amazing. His attention to detail, creativity, and ability to bring my ideas to life are unmatched. The cover-up especially blew me away—it looks like a brand-new piece with no trace of what was there before. The shop is clean, professional, and welcoming, and he always makes sure I’m comfortable throughout the process. My mom and I came to Angie to get a tattoo in each other's handwriting. She did amazing! We love how it turned out and she was awesome. Very friendly, funny, and personable. 10/10! The shop itself was also very clean and welcoming.

Rob did my conch piercing a couple weeks ago, and it was a great experience. He was super knowledgeable and personable, and made sure I had all the care info and options I needed. I'll definitely be back for my next piercing.

He was incredibly thorough in explaining every step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable and informed the entire time… he never rushed me and took the time to answer all my questions and put thought into not just the piercing itself, but the overall experience.
