Alter Ego has a very upbeat, warm and inviting atmosphere! I was a walk-in and from the time I walked in the staff catered to my needs! Rae Hall was my Tattoo artist. She was so kind and caring as this was my first tattoo. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she designed a phenomenal image. More than I could have hoped for

I went today to have my nostril pierced and it was a fantastic experience. I called and spoke to the gentleman at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and kind. Rachel did my piercing and she was very gentle! 10/10 would recommend this shop! Very clean and they were playing great music.

I recently got a piece done by Allan, and I'm beyond stoked with the results! From the initial consultation to the final ink, the entire experience was top-notch. Allan really took the time to understand what I wanted and offered some killer suggestions that elevated the design.The studio was super clean and had a great vibe, which immediately put me at ease. Allan's attention to detail is insane, and you can tell he's a true artist. The lines are crisp, the shading is perfect! If you're looking for a talented artist who's passionate about their work, Allan is your guy. I'm already planning my next tattoo with him!

Jimmy is an amazing artist with great ideas. The shop was clean and staff was friendly. If you want a life like bright tattoo John (Jimmy) Basillio is the man to see. Thanks for the start of this beautiful work on my scarred arm. Can't wait for the next part.

I stopped by on 6/20/25 to discuss getting my 3rd and 4th year of sobriety tattoo and the artist seemed irritated that I was even there trying to give her an idea of what I was looking for and tried to work out a time. Sadly I left there thinking that I didn't want someone putting ink on me that was wasn't really into doing the piece. Needless to say, they didn't get my business but Purple Heart Tattoo sure did! I hope they drop the ego when it comes to working with customers walking in wanting work done.
