So I came in about an hour before closing and asked if they took walk ins, a lady at the front very quickly said I’ll get you with somebody who can answer that. As soon as she showed me who I’d be with the artist Emma Lynae I believe is how you spell her last name sat down with me and asked what I wanted we spent about 5-15 minutes on designing it to get what I wanted 100% right. She then set up everything and got the stencil ready to go, she was amazing the whole way through, and said that since I bled a good bit if I wanted to come back and get it colored again within 3 months she would do it for free to anybody who is looking to get their next or even first I HIGHLY AND MEAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND EMMA!!!

Julio gave me my Tattoo today of a thorny rose that wraps around my upper arm today. Was very accommodating and friendly, consistently asked if I needed any breaks and worked diligently. Not only this, but the other staff at the location were also very friendly and joked around with me, and the lady who rung me up was also very kind and patient. This was my first tattoo, so I don’t really know how an appointment usually goes, but for my first time they were absolutely amazing. I absolutely recommend this place.

I absolutely loved my experience! Emma took her time and made me feel so comfortable, which meant a lot since it was my first tattoo. She explained the whole process clearly so I felt at ease the entire time. The tattoo came out exactly like the design I chose, a perfect replica, and I’m completely in love with my Thunderbird. I had fun chatting it up with you Emma! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I went in and was impressed from the moment I walked in the door! The lady at the front desk is so kind and helpful. Phil was my artist and he was amazing! It was my first tattoo, so I was a little nervous, but Phil and the staff made me feel very comfortable. I’m so happy and pleased with my experience and tattoo! Definitely recommend coming here! Went in yesterday for a walk-in tattoo to memorialize my pup who passed away in March. Beautiful, clean, shop with friendly staff. Emma was THE BEST!!!! She did an awesome job on my memorial tat for my best boy and was so compassionate and kind. She also changed my life by blacking out a tattoo that I’ve had for 25+ years and carried major shame about having. I highly recommend the shop and definitely recommend Emma. 10/10 for sure!!

Amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. My husband and I got tattooed by Emma. She is amazingly talented and we are so grateful to wear her art forever. You can’t go wrong choosing any artist here. They give 100% with each piece.

Blackwater is a friendly and comfortable environment. I initially started going there for Julio after following him from his previous studio. He’s easy to talk with and always does what’s in his clients best interest. My personal favorite is his shading, he’s been able to adjust visions I’ve had in mind. His line work is impeccable and his attention to detail is appreciated. I highly recommend Julio and Blackwater tattoo!
