Hold Steady Tattoo

Sam Sacco is extremely talented! His use of shading and highlighting with his black is truly beautiful! I went in for a simple tattoo one time and now I’m back for a half sleeve. The best part is he had this drawing that I could choose! And when I asked for a few things added (like an extra crow to make it a murder lol) he was down with it! The shop is clean, pleasant and there’s food and drinks surrounding the building including a Dunkin. Highly recommend their walk in Wednesdays!

Just went to the convention today in Providence and I was hoping to talk to Sam at a peaceful level. Unfortunately, we had a bad day when he opened his bosses shop on a Sunday and he had been Maybe partying a little bit. I throw no stones at hold steady. It is unfortunate that throughout my years of getting tattoos some of the artist slip and fall or party. I enjoyed my time getting tattooed by Sam, but somehow the owner cursed me for doing work with him on a Sunday. That wasn’t my problem, he was the one with the key And I did no partying whatsoever with Sam. I have respect for everybody in the shop. They all do good work . I just should’ve never went to the shop on a Sunday with Sam. If we had stuck to business hours I think everything would be good

First time here - shop was clean and had a fun aesthetic! Comfortable waiting area, better then my own living room honestly. I stopped in to get a piercing redone and John was able to reopen it which I didn't know was possible at that point. He also fixed the crooked original piercing pretty quickly. He took his time, was very professional, but was also funny and made me feel comfortable. I also wanted a new septum ring and he recommended just the right size after I explained how I wanted it to look. Really glad I came in! Thanks!

john is absolutely amazing and specializes in piercings which really makes him stand out from other shops. i’ve gotten piercings done at several other places before and they weren’t totally botched but i’ve noticed that a lot of piercers are primarily tattoo artists so you could easily be getting pierced with incorrect jewelry, have uneven placement, etc. it should be noted that he is so good at what he does that i continue to go back even after he makes fun of my crocs. the atmosphere of this place is so welcoming and diverse; i’ve seen whole families go in for services and they all leave happy. i also got a wrap-around arm tattoo from chad and it turned out absolutely beautiful. he is such a big sweetheart and i’ll certainly be getting more work done soon!

Ive had multiple piercings done at this parlor and some of them have rejected. Piercer says anatomy doesn’t matter when it comes to piercing while shit talking other tattoo/piercing parlors. I have gotten pierced at many parlors and this is was second behind anchored in flesh. I recommend Rockstar.

John is an awesome piercer and has done most of my piercings since I started coming here! The tattoo artists are so nice and the overall vibe is so chill, 10/10 recommend!!

I got a piercing here and I wish so much that I didn't. I found out that the piercer that they let pierce me was untrained and as a result of that my piercing was done incorrectly. It's obviously done wrong too as it pokes to the side. She messed up my piercing and the owner of the shop is calling me a liar and refusing to work with me at all and I'm unsure why. I'm left feeling afraid as someone untrained pierced my body, and the owner has been nothing but mean and threatening.

This place is awful with very rude staff!!! I got my piercing here overpriced as hell considering they botched it, and then when I asked for it to be fixed I got yelled at over the phone and called a liar.. How can I lie when the messed up piercing is right here on my face? DO NOT COME HERE, if you want a botched piercing just go somewhere cheap or do it yourself, mine would have come out better with less hassle
