Empire Tattoo

i came for a walk in spine tattoo with my cousin and a friend of mine and we were all tattooed by alan, it was my first tattoo but he made the process so smooth and explained everything he was going to do which put me at ease! he made sure our tattoos were exactly as we wanted them and was sweet as can be, had us in and out but his work was amazing! the staff was all very friendly and prices were great, definitely going to recommend this place and come back for my next tattoo!

Angel is incredibly talented! Love my tattoo! It is everything I wanted. Everyone there is so funny and what a wonderful atmosphere.

My friends and I wanted to do a walk in tattoos because on their website they do walk ins. We had what we wanted done (a hand tattoo and mind you we have full sleeves) and he was trying to lecture us about how tattoos don’t stay on hands and they don’t do touch ups. Was very rude about it and had an immediate attitude. You would think that having three people come in for tattoos you would want that service. We ended up leaving because we’re not going to sit there and get treated like we are an inconveniences when paying for their service.

If you're in the Oakland area and itching for new ink then get in touch with Empire Tattoo. The staff is friendly and I will without a doubt be returning to the shop in the near future. Came there for the first time on Saturday. A friend of mine told me this was his go to place. I worked with Angel who was great! She was able to squeeze me in earlier than expected, and I was really impressed with her work and her ability to work with my custom drawings I had. Looking forward to work with her again. Great atmosphere as well. The other artists were friendly and that made for a relaxing experience Thanks again Angel and Empire Tattoo!

I got my tattoo done by Lew and I’m not exaggerating when I say that was the best artist experience I’ve ever had. He was super nice. He was very efficient and he didn’t make me feel stupid if I wanted to change the placement or change the detail.

Angel designed a gorgeous, simple custom tattoo for me very quickly. She totally understood what I wanted and was very friendly. I'm super happy with my tattoo!

Been here twice now, for my first Tattoo and a nostril piercing and both times i have to say i’m more than pleased to come here. Staff is very friendly no matter who I am talking to and the work is just amazing. They emphasize cleanliness and almost educational about good practices and what to expect. I will happily be coming back for future tattoos and piercings!

Had been trying to work out a design to get a piece done for months and couldn’t decide on what I wanted. Zach not only came up with a killer design made my idea come to life but he did a great piece and the detail in it is absolutely out of this world! Would highly recommend Zach and this shop to anyone wanting some ink no matter how big or small. Will be coming back for more work!
