Birdhouse Tattoo

Kendalyn was so kind and affirming when I came in for a walk-in appointment. I've had some bad tattoo experiences before but she, and everyone I talked to at Birdhouse Tattoo, made feel so at ease. Honorable mention to Derek for being so kind and friendly, and to Chris who helped me navigate the walk-in process. I will be coming back for sure!

We had the best tattoo experience with Nic. They helped design custom pieces that mirror each other, and did an amazing job with the art placement, the tattooing, and generally making us feel well taken care of. I will definitely come back for any future work.

This was my first tattoo and Nic was amazing!!! They made sure I had all the information I needed about the entire process. I was nervous going in but after speaking with Nic and feeling the first lines happen I was at ease. It was so smooth that I didn’t need any breaks. I got a beautiful piece that holds a lot of emotion for me. It’s also a statement piece.

I can’t recommend Birdhouse enough! Zenna made my dream bouquet come to life and I couldn’t be happier!

Nic was amazing! The birdhouse was such a vibe. We are from South Dakota and are in Portland visiting friends, and will definitely come back to get more work done by Nic!

Nic was so incredible all around! I can’t stress enough how comfortable, respected and heard I felt throughout the whole process. I came in for a walk in but had a kind of complex idea, and Nic was super flexible and we came up with a more reasonable plan for the day. I’m super happy with how their work came out and how they made a conscious effort to make sure this piece meshes well with my other ones. The space was so cute too!

If you’re looking for a good tattoo shop - you must come here!!! My friend and I had a walk in and were assisted right away. We worked with Mitchell & he was fantastic through the whole process. He made us feel very safe and welcome, great conversationalist & the tattoos turned out incredible!!! The shop is covered in plants and has such a nice vibe. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and we were even provided snacks and a drink!! Would highly highly recommend seeing Mitchell for your tattoo needs!
