Chelsea pierced my daith and then my friends Conch and it was a fantastic experience (as fantastic as it can be for getting a needle through your ear anyway!). Chelsea was everything you would want a piercer to be - friendly, calming, informative and skilled! She explained everything she was doing (before she did it and while doing it) so you knew exactly what was happening and when you would feel a pinch! We are both very happy with our piercings! Thank you to Chelsea and the Hive team!
A group of us went to get piercings and this place was great ! Very clean , professional, and the piercer was great and told us exactly what she was doing . Will definitely be back .
Just had a 6 hour session with Brian and it was my first time in Hive and I will never go anywhere else. I have quite a few pieces on my body and have been to my fair share of shops Hive as a shop is fantastic and Brian as an artist is out of this world. As long as I have room on my body Brian and Hive will have a customer for life!
Got my first Tattoo this week with Cristina. She did an awesome job. I emailed to schedule and sent in the idea I had for the design. She had the design ready to go when I walked in for my appointment. Cristina made sure to take time to get the stencil placement perfect before starting. During the appointment, she made sure I was very comfortable throughout. Final product is awesome and I am very happy with it.
Cristina was amazing! She was great about helping me figure out what size and placement looked best! I love my tattoo and she did amazing!!!!
Definitely would recommend! Everyone there was so kind and patient! My daughter wanted her nose pierced and was nervous. Dominique did an excellent job. Walked her through each step, didnt budge when the kiddo jumped a little, and was perfect with her when she teared up a little. She loves her nose ring, the place was super clean, and her nose looks great! It was a little pricier than some other places, but I have no problem paying a little extra for the excellent experience. Thank you! Will definitely be back!!
We both had tattoos done by Leo at The Hive he did an amazing job and payed close attention to detail on each of our tattoos. The lady that we talked to at the front desk was also welcoming, answered the questions we had, and helped us make an appointment where both of us could get our tattoos on the same day. Overall great experience!
It’s a very cool studio! The front desk was really nice. Charlie (piercer) was great! Very professional & clean. Wish I knew about this place sooner instead of driving to other shops in Cincinnati.
Hive is where I got my first ever ‘professional piercings’ (i put it in parentheses because it is far from) and every single one has rejected from the piercings being done so incorrectly. I have wasted so much money here and time here and I truly regret it. First off I got my belly button pierced and the girl who did it managed to pierce it completely crooked. Not only was it crooked but it was so low and done so incorrectly that it ended up rejecting and literally falling out of my skin. I now have a scar so bad I can’t get it repierced again. The environment is nice and the workers are sweet but i truly believe they do not know what they are doing. Not once was my anatomy checked either. The last and FINAL straw for me was when I got an anti eyebrow done here. The piercer didn’t have the correct equipment with him. Not only did he pierce it too deep and too shallow on one side but he didn’t pierce it correctly with the curve of my face. When he pierced it the staple literally fell into my skin and he proceeded to DIG IT OUT for like 10 minutes. It was so painful and ended up rejecting on ONLY ONE SIDE because it wasn’t pierced correctly with my anatomy. I even went to a different piercer to get it removed and eventually will be getting it redone and was told it was done horribly wrong. I ended up going back and getting a partial refund for my anti eyebrow but when leaving a piercer told me that the only other option was to use a curved bar ball in my SURFACE FACE PIERCING but for some reason and i quote “they don’t like that”. If this piercer had ANY knowledge on piercings he would know that using that type of jewlery is prone for migration and rejection!! It won’t sit correctly in your skin. The piercers are kind i will give them that. But kindness doesn’t make up for the permanent scars from the mistakes of people who are supposed to know what they are doing! edit: I would like to also mention that their jewelry is not actual titanium they lie about that. Hense why those with metal allergies are getting reactions here as well. My sister got pierced here and her ears have still not properly healed. It’s been months for her. This is seriously unacceptable.
